Really loving the direction this level is going, and I hope it stands as a keystone to the rest of the art in the game. I got a slight 80s scifi, even starwars, feeling from it but with it's own unique spin. Honestly it's hard to go wrong with 80s scifi. Thanks for the documentation on the meshes as well!
I wanted to make some modular enviroment that was large, have heavy use of modules and was made with a master material. Still adding models and editing textures. I have taken inspiration from Rage, fallout and Tor fricks Scifi Slum http://polycount.com/discussion/84867/scifi-slum-in-udk#latest
Welcome Bob, scrolling your credits reads like a who's who tent-pole 'dream team' selection for the best part of 30yrs, especially for nerdy folk (...which certainly includes me :# ) that are enamored with scifi/disaster/apoc/fantasy content and may I add particularly mechanical hard surface stuff so hope your time here is…
Jack and Orb - Inspirational piece there guys, definitely makes me want to give landscape painting a go. Awesome. Ebolo - That shit is super clean, great job. Made a generic scifi floor. Spec / diffuse are still early and WIP. Tried to not overdo 'fake' details I see alot in scifi stuff. and make the floor seem somewhat…
I think I finally found the perfect sword design for this composition, a scifi crystal short sword or scifi crystal double bladed short lance to give her weapon a bizarre alien look. I'll try to render it like a blurry mirror. So now I think the character design is close to being final, it might be time to texturize it.…
Here are the humble beginnings of my Dieselpunk/Scifi crossover vessel. My goal is to develop a spacecraft interior that looks heavily influenced by WWII submarine tech, yet has certain scifi elements to show it as a futuristic space vessel. So far it's pretty basic but I'll be posting updates regularly... Concept and…
Made for the Weekly Challenge "Robot 2.0" in Clinton Jones' Discord. . Scene and mood heavily inspired by "Darkest Odyssey Portrait" by Friendly Robot. Design inspiration and reference is a culmination of Ma.K. by Kow Yokoyama, WW1 tech and Retro Scifi. . For WIP and sketches, view it on Artstation ^^
Looking cool. I would say you need a bit of colour in lighting to break it up at the moment. It would also worked extremely well if you added some depth fog and dust particles as it would show of the whole dirty scifi thing more. A red light might look cool at the end of the tram tunnel..... It's not scifi unless you go…
Hey guys , here's my latest doodle in school hopefully gunna make some sort of wallpaper or anything of that kind I might not model it soon as well as putting details to the scifi spider due to exams But i'll do my best :) Concept: Scifi robot being Repaired Need: ideas for the the stuff coming out of the broken areas so…
Do you mean something like: Personal portfolio piece Scifi Crate March 2014- April 2014 -Modeled, textured, shader work on sample scifi crate for portfolio Something to that effect? No. Don't do that. Or do you mean a screenshot of a model? I guess that's fine like Skanker says in the background. But shoot man that's what…
