goblin man is very nice. how did you keep from distorting his eyeballs while you zbrush? tell me or I will send you some pee in the mail and then you will have to smell it again.
The goblin was intended to seem childish. The zombie is not supposed to be childish, but does have extended arms and neck (so it can swipe at and bite the player more easily) I'll post some clips of gameplay when the animations are finished. In the meantime...
Nice clean layout. Some pieces I think lack details and don't look too good on the front page. Owl, Aftermath and car WIP for example. While your goblin, gun and sword are really awesome, much better than the 4 you have on top.
Took a break from the elf to practice texturing on the goblin SDK. Not that great, heres a flat I am completely ignorant when it comes to wrinkles, so i just draw dark lines and blend them in a bit. Any suggestions? I have major issues with hair to.
I personally can't wait to see what our main animator does with Chyme (the little goblin looking guy in the image). We are going to give him a very funny and distinctive way of walking. The design with the short legs is for a reason ;)
#ALLENGIGRICH okay thanks for the advice i Will try and use some different brushes instead. Should i keep sculpt in dynamesh or use the zremesher? #PYRZERN so i have to find some anatomy to sculp the bidt first :) should i find anatomy both on humans and goblins? :)
I don't know anything about elf anatomy but what makes it different than human anatomy? The hipbone looks alarmingly narrow and the hands are tremendous. You can easily counter my critique with, "it's elf anatomy, noob." But right now it's reading more goblin than elf.
Pre-Tolkien elves (evil bastards) vs old school fairies with humans as a slave class abused by both. The dwarves were wiped out by the elves and fairies as a display of power to discourage an uprising, by the humans, orcs, goblins, etc. Project Eternity because the two warring races are immortal.
Hi, I'm an animation student testing the waters here. Critique and feedback are appreciated. I'll start with concepts for an idea I'm still working on, the goblin is the protagonist for a puzzle heavy platformer. This was my first model, I haven't had the time to finish it thanks to school work though.
something a little different from character designs, these were some level interior designs and prop designs for a Unity group game project, we wanted to go for a 60's theme mixed with a goblin core/ witchy vibes for an abandoned cottage
