Wacom: They could incorporate a bluetooth docking bay for a bluetooth mouse with the tablet, instead of that crappy mouse that only works on the wacom surface. The mouse is charged when docked and the tablet has the blutooth radio inside.
Thanks guys! I am using a noname Tablet from Aiptek, no Wacom. Maybe a Wacom would be the better choice though, seeing howmuch (community) support it got.
If this needs moved to technical talk then by all means please do. I just wanted to share a solution with Cintiq owners or potential Cintiq owners to make their lives a lil' easier. I spent the past hour or so banging my head on the desk trying to figure out why I couldn't see my cursor on my Cintiq. I have 3 of 4 displays…
"there's a Windows 10 driver from 2015, but considering 11 is going to get rolled out sometime in the semi-near future, I suppose I could wait?" That's not how it works. A piece of hardware that works with 10 will not stop working when 11 comes around. This is not Apple land :) However, If you are the kind to be excited…
^ Time for an animation contest, indeed. Though, man, I wouldn't mind seeing a Wacom Cintiq prize someday (wink wink, Wacom!). Oh, Cintiq, how I long for thee!
The Note 10.1 is Wacom tech, so it's a safe bet to expect it to work like a wacom. ;) I do love mine, though I believe it's "only" 1024 levels of sensitivity instead of 2048.
as I said in the news post comments, there is a possibility that this is not an actual Wacom product. The domain name isn't registered Wacom and the device is not mentioned anywhere on their site. Doesn't make it 100% fake, but certainly raises an eyebrow.
i installed the new wacom drivers then i added mudbox to the wacom panel and changed the buttons so i can have pan and zoom in the pen and voila. i have tablet pressure now. :)
