I need help building a PC, I read the sticky. Still confused.
Yeah, i'm very on the edge on building one. All I got from reading the sticky is I need atleast 16 gb ram, more cores the better and a decent GPU with atleast 8gb of memory maybe a ssd? it's pretty pricey it makes reading stuff I have $950 budget, not too much I know :| Thanks for the help. -

I've used AMD for 10 years in my PC builds. They give good performance in the affordable price range, whereas Intel holds the fastest CPU title and charges a premium for it. I don't need bleeding edge CPU power. My Phenom II 4x 950 BE serves me just fine and they haven't gone through as many socket changes as Intel either.… -

NyneDown - I don't rule out more clutter props. I'm sure I'll have plenty of tris left over after doing what I've got - it's at ~950 right now, roughly 1/20 the limit! Just throwing in something for Modo. The Devs have been working pretty hard on improving the performance on AMD. I'm personally running an R9 290 and didn't experience any problems with it after 901.
