Whats your budget? Don't get SLI, too much of a hassle and not worth the performance, unless your going for 3 monitors or something. I'd probably just get a GeForce GTX 465, would rather leave my options open to upgrade later than spend $650 on graphics cards now. -

I have legit adobe cs3 master collection (one of the perks of my friend working for adobe is cheap commerical licenses). Wait I thought modo used to cost $595 what happened there? But $995 is a bit out of range at the moment (really quite poor). I will give blender another shot. -

Broadband quality isn't really consistent in the US and it sucks compared to the rest of the world. In 7 years I think my DSL speed has increased maybe 2.5 - 3 times in speed and I pay about $50 a month for it. 10 years ago 56k was as fast as you can get in my area. -

Yeah I know the speed boost from simple HDD to SSD will be tremendous, but is the speed difference between the different types of SSD noticable? The samsung 860 128GB has a HDD reading spead of 550 MB/s, and writing at 320 MB/s, while the SSD you posted has them listed as 555 and 510.
