Hey Camrat, I saw that you posted on my thread asking about lighting. :) With your scene in particular, my eye has a bit of trouble being guided through the composition. You've got all these great little details with your bridge geo, but you need to help my eye out by guiding it a bit with lighting. It's reading a bit…
This took me a while until I could better understand everything you showed. But yes, you were right, and that worked just fine! In case someone else needs it, I made a conversion chart for some sRGB key values: sRGB --- Substance Painter input 30 sRGB --- 0.00902149 50 sRGB --- 0.0277553 180 sRGB --- 0.464741 240 sRGB ---…
There are two ways. Either use Hypershade to use MultiplyDivide nodes to do the conversion (which is really fast, values are restricted to three decimals though so you loose precision). The other way is using an expression. Expressions can slow down your scene if you're not careful. A simple deg/rad-conversion shouldn't be…
Thanks for the images! Deciding on / adjusting the texel density a bit later has the main disadvantage of you having to redo stuff, so I wouldn't push it back too far. So now is probably a good time since you already have a couple of elements. Obviously, the texture for the chair would be smaller than the texture for the…

Chopped:-5 or so…

I use it. The Grease Pencil is cool but doesn't add much to game character modeling with the exception of helping to story board animation. The realtime shaders are cool but most major apps max, maya, xsi have all had this for a while. I do like the fact that that you can texture paint on top of the normal map in the view…
