I also had lots of problems with 2014 with crashes and UI, which is sad because I loved the app...Downgraded to good ol' 2009. Would love to hear what pros have to say of 2014's stability and functionality...
Please correct me if i am wrong, but *I think* that doesn't work very well if your not selecting a single object's UVs. Tex-tools's (uv plugin) normalize function does nothing when multiple objects are selected.
I think the design is look really simple and flat atm, and as the others have said it's lacking technical function. And it could be more optimized what I have highlighted in the picture could be done only in the normal map, without the geo.
Yeah I will fix the twisting. The texturing was just testing. She is pretty symetrical so I will probably mirror the uvs. For now she has unique uvs on both sides of the face. Was trying out Modos paint functions. It's not bad .
@Shrike Thanks for the critic :) but so far I know the has CryEngine no world space based color function  please tell me if I`m wrong. I tried to use two materials but this needs a soft transition.
@cryrid Now it is an awesome script :) . I have no experience about scripting. Is it hard to make simple things like this? I said simple because function is simple, I mean is it hard to code that? And thank you so much for the script.
Also trying to use the script, selecting the faces, running the script...nothing happens? Any help would be great as I've just switched studios and have gone from maya to max and am struggling a little with the functionality. Thanks all
you've got to provide more information than this. put us in your chair -- recount all the details. screenshots help. You can insert screenshots directly into the post. Use the search function to find information about how to do that.
For now you have to delete them manually. I will look further into how can I make it delete the previous versions automatically. You need to lunch the panel once when you open max then use the following functions
Looking good! Only thing that pops out to me is the circular hatch on the top looks like its resting slighting inbetween the angled metal and the flat metal. Maybe shifting it one way or the other will make it seem more functional?
