I plan to continue watching it (watching ep 2 online, right now). I'm just afraid of the first ep leading to people not watching, and the show failing. I like the 2nd one so far, though it's still a bit slow (so far).
It looks like your ground plane is continuing beneath your wall and the light is bleeding from the back of the wall to the front. if thats the case you need to ensure they are shadowed evenly on both sides. If you want a free alternative you might look at Giles
Thanks for the tips..I will definitely use the sculpt geometry. Because of my time issues I won't be able to start over the mesh however I do plan to but I'll continue to post my work in the mean time. Thanks for the pics as well they helped. :)
Track leads and a few others were v- on FM5. Folks they wanted on continuously from early pre-production all the way to RTM. My track lead was v-, and a very seasoned Valve alum who I had a blast working with and learning from.
boa, the last guy is talkong so much crap and doesnt get to the point, its awefull, i cant continue watching edit: seriously stop talking about other tings while you paint, that goes for all of you, its simply horrible
I had a little fun with it, everyone's texture is coming out great show some orthos in the final so we can get teh full effects of your lovely textures. I don't know if I will continue this it was mostly just fun & boredom.
I feel that your hipoly is still pretty empty, almost like it's just a mesh smoothed version of your low. If I were you I'd continue another day and add small details..ie: bolts, rims, metal seams, etc etc.
hi, its aimed at getting a job, finding it hard at the moment but I'll keep on trying and see what turns up. Think I'll try and work out how to change the layout format, thanks, the scrolling down continually thing could become a pain.
Would you be able to throw the UV map up for this? I am really liking the scene so far, if you continue to push the buildings in terms of contrast, get some nice colours in there, it should work wonders to make the scene look more appealing.
LOL my god despite the fact that that's some serious stuff right there, jesus. Haha I can't stop laughing as I continued to read along where the "Redneck engineering" comes into play. XD For a minute there I thought the backyard was going to be set on fire.
