update, put some basic textures on, normal and diffuse. not sure about the colors i have though. please give feedback. ideas and suggestions are welcome.
try putting your lightmap on the colorgain input of your color texture instead of using on the diffuse or ambient. This will really multiply your lightmap into your colorgain.
Well, I rebuilded lowpoly and removed these intersecting pieces. And here is diffuse tryout. I know it's looks like crap, but I hope it will be better. Someday.

Here's the current finish on it. I've kept the original post quoted below. Managed to change the arms around so they aren't sticking out so far, finished the diffuse, and also added a normal+specular to it.
