Looking quite a bit better already, high frequency detail on the surface is a nice touch that brings out the spec. Now just get it into Marmoset!

Can you add a spec and bump to each color map in a layered texture? Because the only way I know is via a layered shader

Crazyfingers has a good point. The metallic texturing also lends its self well to learning how to make proper, and effective spec maps.

Do any of these programs have the ability to sample multiple textures at once, like cloneing the diff, spec and gloss at the same time with one stroke?

Props look good, but the metal on the barrel doesn't look metal - play with the spec more and add a gloss map. Wood looks lush on it though.
