A minor tweak of the cracks since last. I've been busy with some research, so not much 3D-modelling has happened as of late. Only a small stylized hammer, that I will probably be done with this week - will update again.
it's cool, what happened to the head? 0__o Is it going to be stylized sculpting or realism? I would love to give better feedback but my anatomy isn't that strong but overall its a good start and you should keep it going.
First attempt at stylizing a wooden pallet: Already had the mesh done a few months back, so decided to re-uv map it and hand draw the texture. Shall look into testing that out at the weekend. Thanks for the advice! :)
Haven't had much time lately, but w/e here's an update. Still a ton of work to be done. Planning to learn proper PBR with this, and going the stylized route i guess somewhat similar to KH3 but with Akiras style.
I know it's all stylized and it's coming along nicely, but I kind of miss the Brachialis muscle. The arm looks odd without it. I know it's not in the concept though. Just something to think about. It's looking sweet though.
Then they're terrible at sticking to it. "More Hand Painted Texturing!" 12-11 "Materials in UE4!" 11-06 "Learn to Script in Maya!" and "Create Tileable Photographic Textures!" 10-30 "Stylized Texturing" 9-23 Etc...
Personally I think that the doctor and medieval dude have more material/ surface types to work with. I also think they are more do able for the time frame. Also would be nice to not do a stylized female again...
Hey DashXero, thanks for the comment :) I definitely agree with you. Since I'm still trying to get better with anatomy, trying to stylize things with the concept is seeming pretty difficult. I'll try to check that and fix it up
Thanks! I'm really trying to push this one. Went a different direction with the pants going for more stylized folds. Here's a back view of my progress. Starting to think the forearm armor is a bit bland compared to the rest.
I like this one! Would love to see it pushed more in terms of texture detail. I realize it's stylized but I think things like beer stains, and other little marks would go a long way.
