Based on the demos they've done in the recent past at shows like GDC, Siggraph, etc, this doesn't make any sense. They haven't added things to Maya that a lot of people want to see, but they're certainly adding pipeline functionality.
Max for Tile Sampler is 6 I think, it is possible to make an FX-Map with.... a lot more, I've done up to 76 inputs, if you go that route you'd potentially need some knowledge on FX Maps and functions.
I also like the idea of boat for flying version, very original btw 4kk$ goal - pudge courier? what the hell? worst goal ever imo, better add "/surrender" function and ill buy 20 compediums.
Indeed. This one of the things I factor into personal tool purchasing decisions. Publicly traded companies care about share holder value first. Customers and employees only matter as much as a function of increasing share holder value.
The problem with that is there is only a spinner to change the light map channel, everything else seems to be hard coded to use channel 0 as far as I can tell. Maybe there is a material function to pick a channel per texture that I've missed?
Looking for an "ideal" solution becomes pointless as soon as you get the functionality you need to get the work done. Ghost-it does the transparency part - from there all you have to do is to look for a borderless picture viewer, there are plenty.
I mean thats how almost all of the tools in maya work though. Not that it is ideal functionality, because I think that alot of other tools could use those interactive sliders, even "broken" like they were in 2012.
It just seams like something is not right in the UV. For example if I just select only a few of the polygons and relax them, they do not relax right either. Are there any other functions like reset Xforms I can try?
This looks amazing! Do you have any resources/links to how to make that spline system? The function I'm after is that it adds a new mesh when you change direction of the pipes. Is it made in Houdini or just a UE4 blueprint?
I'm using Opera, except for a few deliberately broken functions (Opera users can't delete their junkmail, MS is notorious for doing that on purpose) it works. But I've switched to web.de because neither Hotmail nor Lycos support POP3.
