I think Zbrush by default launches onto you 'main' screen I remember you could open zbrush and move the window to the main monitor then close out the application. It should then open up in the main monitor afterwards.
Right, right, as for the last thing, everybody does that, I guess... I do. But wow, thanks for the documentation link, I'll check it out. It's weird that the default is quadratic, shouldn't it be linear? I'm glad it can be changed tho. THANKS!
BSOD's are normally related to the RAM, so it sounds like you probably got it fixed. If you didn't...I would just install windows again and see what happens. Also set all the BIOS settings to their default.
Another note to add... (if anyone else encounters similar problems with XNormal). Go under Settings and Examples and hit the Restore default settings. This seemed to clear up a few other problems I was having with AO not baking correctly.
Thanks Jon, I have to admit the lighting and atmosphere is the default UDK 'morning light' set up. I ran out of time when it came to lighting the scene. But it's something I'd like to experiment a bit more with, definitely...
Yea. I know how it works. I was using it just fine before it broke on me. I tried defaulting the UI, and uninstalling an reinstalling max, but it doesn't help. I'm wondering if there is a setting I'm missing somewhere that is causing it.
Try to use plain, simple <img> for images on your front page. Yours seem to be loaded via some kind of javascript. Tech people like myself usually have scripts blocked by default, something to keep in mind.
usersen: As someone already mentioned, when holding down C (default hotkey for Snap To Curve), your selection should slide along the edges. Not sure about sliding along faces in Maya, I've never tried that myself.
orange usually means they have keyframes set on them. Set keyframe Defaults to "S" I believe. You can also open up the dope sheet, select the keys (black box marks on the sheet) and delete them .
I use the default scanline renderer and a skylight to render my AO maps. Works fine for me. Perhaps you can try that for now (I know it's more of a work around than actually solving your problem )
