have you tried using zremesher brush to draw guide lines for the zremesh operation? sometimes it gives usable results, sometimes not.. when not, you will probably have to do it manually :neutral: -

Generally this happens when your image background is white. If you change the BG to a neutral green closer to the color of your leaves that should sort it out. -
