I've seen this. It's utter nonsense, especially if the dividers aren't even taller than your monitors. Unless management realizes that lost productivity, decreased quality and lower employee satisfaction weighs more than the cost of some cheap walls, open office plans will stay with us.
looks really nice, i like it but comparing it to the concept, its scale is off. I know that you maybe don't want to replicate the concept 100% but making it look bigger might give it more awesomeness, at least make those walls taller like in the ref image
@Tectonic Yeah i am going for a taller looking figure so I'm trying to keep the legs a little longer than normal but i do see what you mean. The wider should make it look way more natural now, Thanks for the awesome feedback!
but generally those doors are taller no? or at least the round top is way higher up so the sharp corner is above head level, which probably wouldn't work so well in this project i get what you are saying, just doesn't look very practical in this situation
Gears of war... I'd suggest making him taller, he looks kinda goofy like this now. I did a quick paint over, to show what i mean (left) opposing to the old one (right) He looks a lot more scary and intimidating now :)
With the last update and addition of the on/off button, the mini-mode window appears to be much bigger/taller. It might be an optical illusion I'm seeing, but there is a lot of useless space under the on/off button and preset that could be culled. For instance I don't need license info shown in that mode.
The3DHair rules all. i believe 3DGuy even took this picture at the chicago con that he and kub and i attended: the king of all the cosmos! i was a good bit taller than he, but it just didn't seem right to pose with the King and making him look small.
Ha this is amazing! He seems to be a tad taller than you have him right now, the proportions of the width is good. Under his boobs there is a gap between them and the belt, so if you get that I think that would cover the height.
I am not an expert of any kind in 3d and i really suck at textures, but i think that weapon has too much dust and rust on it I lik the envio, but i think the proportions are a bit off, walls and pillars are taller in the concept
:) Update: Made some adjustments to the material and made the model a bit taller. Was going for the "white knight" style. I think I'm going to move on to rigging and animating now. Update 2: Sharpened and increased the contrast. Sketchfab: https://skfb.ly/KAI8
