dx9 material and the fx goes in the fx slot then the images in the image slots, and then drag the material onto the mesh ... kinda should work edit: a shaderfx node for that shader was ueber awesome also this: http://www.pixelcg.com/blog/?p=165 now i want more of them spherers, those are interesting
Luckily Big Ant's Bradman 2014 looks suitably impressive, so I think it'll be forgotten pretty quickly and won't have too much of a real impact on the development scene here beyond 505 and Trickstar. Wonder if Trickstar will change their name again. They must be on to their 5th at this point, right?
I startd that sculpt at dynamesh resolution 8 and 564 polygons, blocked out the head nose and neck shape with that but was unable to add details like eye socket and mouth.....for that purpose i increased the resolution......that's what was in the screenshot. Head sculpt (10/30) Ears are imm brush ones ( altered a bit ).....
Regarding character height, I take it the player camera is still located around the neck/chest area, right? So while the character itself is 180 cm, the 'eyes' are actually 165 cm? I had this problem when trying to get the proper scale of the scene, character vs doors for example.

I'm running a Palit 560 ti 2gb and I have no problems in max, any version runs fine. I will say that in max 2014 I have noticed a big performance boost compared to 2012 which I use most of the time. I can get 15-20 mil polygons in the scene without to much sweat (if I have to that is)
"Heart Attack Grill spokesperson Blair River recently died of pneumonia. He weighed in at 575 pounds and was 29-years-old when he died. Dr. Jon told News 8 today that Big Ernie, the restaurant's first spokesperson is also obese. He is reportedly back on the job after he had been away after falling into a coma."
you can stretch them to 2000000000 2000000000 if you want, is just really heavy on the vertex compression. The more you extend your UV'S, the more blurry and less accurate it will be. Is not something that should really bother your workflow, try to keep them as much as you can inside 1/1 of course, but no engine should…
Wohooo, I like it a lot! :O I'm another huge fan of futuristic racing... *_* Absolutely nothing bad to say on this work. One only question: are you planning to add some scratches and dirt here and there? For instance, just behind me there's a poster of Wip3out, showing an old Feisar running aside an AG-5Y5! Too bad I don't…
I'm going to GDC but I don't have any recent pictures. BTW does anyone know of any restaurants and food under $20 in the GDC area? So far the only place I can find doing a really poor www search is Canton at 655 Folsom St (around the corner of GDC) its food is from 7-14.
