Re: ZBrush colorize problem.
Set brush mode to MRGB, select a white color and the Flatcolor material, use Color: Fill Object. Exampld the Tool: Texture Map subpalette and fill the material there just in case (and turn off the texture if there is one). -

Its looking good man, i thought it looked asian before reading the text so i guess thats a good sign ;) As @MrOneTwo said, start low and work until you can no longer do anything, then subdivide... sometimes its way too tempting to just hit ctrl-d or divide, but if you cant get the proportions working early on then… -

MrHobo thanks for pointing that out! I am using it more as a base, I actually am in the process right now of drawing my own version of it, I just really want to get the basic details down then finish up my own concept of it. -

well, it is looking really good if you are in your few first models, my advice would be a bit in line with MrHobo, the anatomy is somewhat off but not that much, it can be considered stylised.
