Finally had the chance to update my website. New domain registered and added some turntables in there too. http://www.bajsingh.co.uk Any feedback on the layout/archaic content is appreciated. I may have enough days to update it before I go on holiday. Cheers peeps :) .
The layout seems fine, maybe need some variation in the material/a few decals and etc. to break up the brick. For the vines, I'd say you're making them too bright/yellowish, which makes it stand out too much in the scene. Here's a good reference:
This was something I've been debating, and opted with a contact 'call to action' button that links to an about page, with all relevant contact information. I'm putting in an option to show contact info on the sidebar, but after testing it doesn't seem to be as nice in the layout. I'll show an example later!
I finished working on the UV layout for the floor pieces! The Pipes will be done when I do the next UV pass. I'm going to work on other parts of the project now and post what I come up with as soon as I have something substantial. Thanks!
just started zb4 and noticed its reverted back to original layout, so i redid it checked the StartupDocument.ZBR and its got todays date so i know its updated. Started it again and sure enough reverted back to original. Anyone else finding this.
Did made so much progress this week due to a cold. :poly118: Cleaned the meshes and did the UV Layout for all for parts: Next will be to create the high poly of the base, the parts and the canon itself, once done the baking will start. (The highpoly and bake for the arm is already done)
I say we all revert! =p Cause we aren't really ready for an upgrade and I don't think we ever were. Also youtube has not made a good change at all, is their a revert to old style layout anywhere in there? Bring back the Diffuse. :)
Seems like a cool layout. I'm assuming this is not yet in-engine...doesn't look like it. Hard to critique lighting and composition right now, doesn't feel like you have actually really set either of those up...but the blockout looks promising so far.
I can see what you mean. I am still working on ways to improve the layout of my UVs when painting my textures. If I were more efficient with the UVs here, it would probably reduce the fuzziness and graininess on some of these objects. Thanks!
Hell of a project you've started Curtis. I'm digging the overall layout, and looking forward to see what you turn out. You've already done a ton of the legwork it seems in terms of your technical and gameplay goals, keep up the diligence and remember them crates.
