hm dunno it also depends a lot on where ıomeen comes from, here in germany artist usually is fancy pants painter/sculptor/performance artist - who either starves to be free and do his art or cashes in tons of money for his paintings/sculptures/whatever. For my job descriptions isn't even one english word without the term… -

Big competitions that are widely recognized couldn't hurt. Hopefully you don't have to rush to finish it in time. If it looks good, use it anyway. Gonna do the same with my Entry for Comicon 2015. Ps. +1 for Temple Knight & Dragoner. -

I'd like the judging to be done by professionals of any forum/site/community, personally. Not by one site as it'd be easy for things to get biased. Comicon Challenge had some pretty horrid judging. -

Actually I think it might come back, but considering Comicon just finished it would be more likely for Game Artisans to do an environment art challenge before that. So if there was going to be one it wouldn't be for while some time.
