You need to change the Arc Rotate option. It's the button in the lower right corner of the screen, looks like a circle with three arrows coming out of it. maybe you'll have better luck than i did, but i wouldn't recommend sculpting the fur. You'll spend as lot of time on it, and it will look pristine as a sculpt, and then look fake and be hell to work with once you bake a normal. Aside from the graphical issues, there are a few things that bother me. Cutscenes. I can understand forcing the playing to sit through it the first time, since it's for the story.
