The sad thing that I have is something to do with my hand eye coordination which means I draw like a 5 year old in the drawing quality my hand writing is around 5-7 years old not improved despite multiple attempts at trying. However I seem to have a goodish eye which is improving as a quite good rate for now so :D -

7 years ago was still PS3/360 territory. Speaking pure modeling wise, the workflow from going high to low hasn't changed much since then. Pretty much everything Dustinbrown said is spot-on. There are definitely more family oriented studios out there that have a stable 9-6 (10-7) work-day.
