Debabelizer Pro - god damn thing gives a crash error report EVERY TIME I shut it down....grr. 3dsmax - inability to slide new objects into an existing hierarchy in the heirarchy view. Our engine uses this as it's sorting graph, so things need to be in order to sort properly. It's BEYOND annoying having to unlink 40…
I was pretty bored so I just mocked these up... My mate loves the Dragon type head but I done it in 40 mins and I told him it was a speed model that isn't really good in the 3D world xD The tech thing I normal mapped and everything in 10 mins (speed practice) EDIT: The tech thing was a test at mechanical stuff in zbrush.
People bitch and complain about being ID'ed til their about 40. Then it's a blessing. The stores I've worked at in the US have laws stating you must ask anyone you believe is 27 or younger. Local law enforcement will send minors through as a test, and if you don't ask, YOU are arrested. I'm never asked because I always…
I just checked and it's an even greater difference here. Static geometry typical for characters, UV's, custom vertex normals, materials without explicit texture assignments and the files shrink to something like 40 % of the original export. Not too shabby. But definitely it's not going to make the difference in this case…
Yeah and those are usually specialized on certain tasks. We are about 40 people and only one is not a modeller right now. that might shift next year, but still it will be a ton more modellers than any other position. But we also do not overspecialize in like modeller, texture artist etc. we usually support full ownership…
Not quite, like in Flash if u have a ball that tweens forward,u can reverse the frames on the timeline so they tween backwards when u hit the play forward button. Does maya have a reverse keyframes like that?I know u can switch the keys in the graph editor if u have two keys but this will be difficult if u have like 40 keys.
Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I'm curious for those that bought the 2412m, did you go through Dell's website or a reseller? I see Amazon has them for about $40 cheaper (and I plan on going dual), so that saves a nice chuck of change. My only worry was that it seems some who purchased non-directly had some customer…
Not sure if Zelda is the best test of the hardware, some say compromises had to be made developing the game on 2 systems with different architectures. It's obvious that parity between all 3 versions was a goal, since they're so similar. For me Zelda's visuals range from bland to stunning, and for the most part it looks…
Why in the world do you have so many height segments for the barrel sleeve? You are also missing numerous details - most obviously the trigger assembly - but that might all fall into the 40% undone part. The scale also seems off in some areas - the hand grip, for example; this is a common enough weapon that you can find…
Probably not as bad as it used to be. I remember guilds had to have designated blacksmiths in Molten Core to get all the minerals for the guild to level. I also had to hunt Devilsaur to level my leatherworking... back before even rare items were the norm. I remember wearing all level 40-50 greens hunting those mofos w/my…
