I had been meaning to do a lowpoly anatomy study, and at first made a perfectly boring male base mesh for the purpose. But I couldn't help myself and pushed the proportions to make it funny, and then turned it into a demon dude while I was at it. I intend to make some armor pieces next.
I agreem the sculpt looks very natural. Just becareful not too spend to much time on the body sculpt if you might not need it for the final product. You said you didnt know where you were gonig with it, it would be a shame to cover this nice sculpt in some clunky armor.
This is looking so good! If you haven't yet you should make a tutorial about how you approach your textures. I do gotta point out that the shadow on the fur under her shoulder pads feels like it needs more dark values as it gets closer to the armor.
it would be good to have some kind of crest or emblem on it. most knights have a family history and honor tied to their name, it was important for them to be identifiable by their armor. it doesn't have to be complicated, you can go for a simple pattern. but I think it would add a good focus point to your shield.
Hello, Some character design i come up with. One is queen Cersei version the other is Lannister armor. IV looks like too much to an existing skin, i'll probably change the color scheem or juste get rid of this design. Feel free to tell me your preference.
You might want to post just the naked body first. If the body doesn't look right, putting armors on top isn't gonna fix it. might as well hide her hair too. I think there's something going on with her face. And her lips and chin are not helping you either.
its a burnt wood effigy of a battlecruiser. that's what my sister said too. I am painting it in black and white just to get an idea of the different parts. if its a giant battlecruiser vehicle spaceship, Should I make all the armor panels their own pieces, or make it one mesh?
awp | Shatterd threedimensional - Inspired by players buying awp without armor, the so called "glass cannon". All shattered pieces modeled by hand and then rendered from 3 different angles, that i also projected from. Then I painted and welded the different bakes together to get this result. Enjoy!
Hi Shay! Nice job! I'm loving where this is going, you chose a nice concept. I agree with Koromo, there´s minor proportions issues to fix, specially the shoulder armor they look a bit smaller in the concept. But you're a doing an great job, I cant wait to see more :)
