These both look great! My only critique for your next stylized weapons would be to push the shape a little more. Both blades are just 'straight-edge' but the texture is saying it's received significant use.
Paintover i did. Trying to feel out how i want to stylize the body. Torment's more lithe than the others so trying to find a balance of sleek/joe mad to complement Fury.
Hi! This is a very nice idea, your first sketches are interesting. I like the colors. I feel like the Disney Aladdin movies could be a nice reference to see how they stylized things. Following! :)
I really like the scene you've started! But you could try some bigger stylized grassblades, this look a little noise somehow. Especially those in the foreground. I'd love to see the ground textures.
I hate to be a party pooper but I totally disagree, the lighting in his image is on point. I think its slightly underexposed but the colors are gorgeous the way they are. That looks like stylized realism in my opinion.
Unless you have superb anatomy skill/knowledge, you want reference, not just inspiration stuff. How is she supposed to be ? Gather loads of images like that. Pick one for reference. And, is this realistic or stylized ?
Tnx for the comments guys. To be honest i was aiming towards bright and saturated feel, kinda a fantasy/stylized but from the real side :D if this is making any sens. However i`ll look in to this things ;)
I was planning to pose the character in zbrush once I get the final look down. How do the clothes look toylike? I was trying to go for a stylized fantasy look, not replicate the materials realistically
Nice work. You're improved a lot since my last visit here :) Stylized stuff is not my thing but your sculpts are looking quality work to me. Keep it up, you're on the right track.
While we're waiting... like someone suggested either here or in the "Theme Idea Thread", why not whip up low-poly (like, 500 tri), stylized fighting game characters as a warmup? :D
