It's a motor grader, aimbiz. I told you in the description, silly! :P https://www.google.com/search?q=motor+grader&aq=f&oq=motor+grader&aqs=chrome.0.57j0l3j62l2.2090j0&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
Oh ok, well I'm a big fan of Tor Fricks work, aiming for this quality :- https://scontent-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/l/t31.0-8/1492223_10152244355142231_4202054981504238117_o.jpg would be amazing. Got a long way to go but I'm motivated.
Well, I'm really surprised, but oh well... thanks for trying. Even harsh criticism is good for answering the questions in the survey - I'd appreciate it if you took a few minutes - I think it's only 8 questions. Thanks again!
k but why is the main texture split in two? and what about that 3rd end? (sorry I'm new and still learning lol) and how ould i be able to use do that with all 8 of the chunks ? to put them anyhere
Giving this thread a bump, we are 8 k away from 100 k and it would be lovely if we could make it today :) Lots more updates on the kickstarter page. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2079547763/jagged-alliance-flashback
@Doodlok Hey man, ok cool! Personally I stick to around 8/8.5 heads, sometimes 9 for manga work (longer legs you see) - I'll do my best to keep an eye on your stuff!
8 days of modelling. Its only 1:21 am and so thats good. I'll be going to bed earlier then usual. Next vehicle is going to be the corvette C07 I'll be texturing these cars in the next 3 or 4 weeks.
What about smoothing that alpha? Also: where did the rest of your polycount go? 8 mil polys on that helmet, can't you distribute the density more the way you get the most where you need to sculpt?
From the top of my head, what's 4-8 times 4? If you're going to make the texture four times smaller than the original then pad the original four times of what you want the end result to have.
i just bought a i5 ivy bridge with some random board and 8 gigs of ram (like 340)€ rest usually can be found in ones old computer(like case, dvd/blueray drive, psu and harddrives)
