I suggest that you tweak around the design a bit, something to resemblance Riven much more than Red. -

Seriously. LOVE the way this looks. The Aliens retro, low-fi, chunky tech gives me such a raging boner ... and this captures it perfectly. I'm sure I'll be too much of a pussy to actually play this but maybe if there's an easy mode or something... :) -

just set aside like ten minutes a day and draw. Seriously if you want to get good at anything you just have to do it everyday for a bit. eventually as you get comfortable start focusing on problem areas. -
