It also looks like you somehow exceed the 16 texture samplers limit which can be easily worked around by using shared samplers - which should be the default option by now, ffs Epic Games.
Flash is irritating for webpages. Especially the ones that take 5 minutes to finish tranforming into a webpage. And webdesign would be a little more fun if a certain outdated and problematic web browser would display .PNGs correctly by default.
Jup my first guess would be caps lock, if that doesn't work just delete all your preferences (from my documents/maya I think) and restart, it should reset everything back to default.
I second that. Pretty customizable. I hate the default 800x400 or whatever the hell it is, but other than that it's solid. There's also the splines route if you have Photoshop, via PSDPathUnwrapper. See MoP's last link here.
looks really cool eld renaud: also when working in max viewports if you start is say, front viewport and use the mouse to orbit the camera then the viewport defaults to user rather than a perspective view.
What does your material look like? Is it a standard material with default settings? I vaguely remember having issues with baking materials set to "display as DirectX" (pink box/something, I don't remember...).
Prefabs hahaha I made a few. I remember when someone came up with the trick to swap out the default cylinder and place actual models. I still call Hammer WorldCraft at times, heh.
Anybody know how i can freeze selected vertices to keep them from moving? This would be good to limit your soft selection to only certain loops. If its not in by default, anybody know a script for it?
I wrote a Script for automatic Reference setup...it also solves the Wireframe-problem, since the Refs are in a separate Layer and are always shaded. By default it uses the Settings I like best, but most of them can be toggled ;)
can you maybe somehow set the folders to invisible in explorer? never tried but perhaps there's a way to define a rule somewhere? filenames with a leading "." are by default invisible in a unix environment and that's where maya came from originally.
