it sounds like the tablet is not your issue but rather the pen input functionality in windows is conflicting with the tablet drivers. i suggest looking into how to disable/remove it for good from your operating system. -

I had progressed alot in this preview - rendering most areas of the illustration and blocking out the areas of solid colour. I was continuing with in-engine tests to ensure readability and 'functionality' of the skin in the game environment. -

heh, who DOESNT love dinotopia? i have caustics attached as a light function on a couple spotlights. ill try bumping the brightness up more so they're more visible. thanks -

3D motive, Eat 3D. Spend 1% of the cost of a masters on those sites and you'll be in the same position. Use the search function and see the sheer amount of information surrounding education in the games industry. -

Most character artists could create solid environment assets because of their mastery of organic modeling. Actually creating a visually compelling and technically functional environment requires a whole host of other skills. -

This. I'd actually be surprised if they really extend its functionalities, unfortunately. I have experienced some horrible brushstroke lags with very small brush sizes and various jittering/random options on, though. -

http://www.flamingpear.com/goodies.html The Solidify Function is very good. You delete your Background so its transparent, then run the filter - > Flaming Pear - > Solidify A and it stretches out the bordering pixel colors. -

I'm not voting, but the left hand is directly wired to the right brain, which houses most creative functions. The problem with that is you'd have to supply him left handed pencils and paintbrushes...not an easy chore. -

I can't really comment on the design functionality of the soldiers gear, but it looks pretty tight. Watch out with the length of his arms though, they both seem quite a bit shorter than they should be.
