That looks pretty sweet actually. Not the Tomb Raider we know, but hey.. I'm all for changing things up. You cant have such a serious attachment to a character who is defined entirely by hot pants and two plump geospheres. I'm all for any kind of attempt at updating a franchise that has been more-or-less stale for the past…
Hey Lee, yeah, I wish I could work the nerve to do something like this at some point ^^; Right now it feels like it might take a decade or so before I muster enough self-confidence. Maybe after a few noob challenges when I don't take a total beating for what I post!
Alright sorry for the delay, Irene decided to shut down the electricity in my whole neighborhood, corrupting all my files related to this project. Had to start over from the only Autobackup that wasn't corrupted. The concept states that the gun are chambered to 40mm cannons. Since 40mm looks like this…
I could have sworn it looks like CE :p Anyway, it looks much better now. If you plan on bringing it in-game, then you can reduce the tiling even more by using decals. Although you can get rid of it by adding some nice shadows - trees would be perfect for that. They would also help you convey the size.
The grass seems to be growing out of the stone flooring, and it's also very dense. Usually, foliage is broken up more when growing out of cracks in stone floors where dirt is exposed. You might want to use decals or alpha masks to break up the stone floor with cracks of dirt where the grass would be. This is looking…
Hello, Sorry for delayed answer, I don't check this forum too often I'm afraid. The game is being developed in a software called Clickteam Fusion 2.5. So what I need for the game is sprites. If an animation is 6 frames of animation I need 6 different .Jpg/.png pictures for example. Hope that info helps! Thanks, Andreas
it amazes me how the order 1886/bloodborne's locked 30fps doesn't bother me at all but I got to have competitive pc shooters running at above 60 fps at all times. why is that e: Has anybody tried taking input at a higher rate than the rendering because maybe that would help alleviate some of the perceived delay
Yes, targas are good. They are a lossless format. For the wall, you'll a tiling brick texture that can be used all over the place, and the symbol as a sepperate decal texture that you stamp on. If you are dead set on having this as a unique texture, you are still wasting a full half of the texture, so you could make it a…
I restarted the sculpt and now the problem seems to be fixed but I have another problem, the sculpt just goes pure white when I use adaptive skin, I don't know what to search to get help, I tried googling zbrush adaptive skin white, white texture but nothing useful or from this decade comes up.
People have been saying this for ages, I've been watching people predict the doom of 3DS Max for at least a decade and yet whenever people do surveys the usage comes out similar between apps. I'm sure animation is maya dominated but that doesn't seem to be the case for modeling. This is one of those things that is oft…
