Hi! I took a short break from sculpting to get fresh eyes. I blocked in his wires today which still need cleaned up more. Watched some shows to relax today. ;) Back to continuing to push and improve.
If you are using 3ds Max you can use a bend modifier on the hatch. You can even clone as a reference, and use the bend modifier on the reference. That way you can keep your flat flat in tact and continue editing that one.
Andreas, that sort of class divide already exists today between first and 3rd world countries. It doesn't seem far fetched to see it continue. If a small group has all the power and uses all the resources, that sort of divide will occur, right?
Hey guys, thanks for checking out my thread :) I hope you continue to track the progress, because it's going full steam ahead! Here's a little something-something for you, before we all go enjoy our weekends.
I just wanted to thank everyone in the community for the support, I hope to continue to create top notch content for you guys! If you would like to spread this information through your social channels I would be much appreciative. Thanks!
I watched all of the episodes. It was something good for taking up airtime in the off-season. I wouldn't have minded seeing it continue, but oh well. Overall, kinda meh. Not nearly as crushing as some other cancellations have been in the past.
Seems accurate to the real deal. You may want to consider adding the holes into the front bit, even if just floating detail. That might help break up the big blocky area that is the foregrip. Continue though. I want to see it textured.
Yup. Retopo it and then bring that into Zbrush. Project the details, subdivide, project the details again to get finer detail, etc. Do that until you get all the details of the original, and then continue sculpting to smooth out any errors or artifacts along the way.
My 2 pence is I've also encountered during R3, I've learned to be so perfect I no longer need undo. Actually it's a massive pain no undo, colleague with same spec machine and software does not get this issue. Continues to baffle.
The concept is really interesting. I like it. The design is just a little boring right now, as stated before. I would definitely continue with this and improve the design if I were you cause it really has some potential. Looking forward to more!
