I think he looks pretty good bald. Maybe an embossed emblem on the metal just underneath his face? I would also change the shape up a bit on the shoulders, nothing was that perfect in metal working back then people wore armor. Keep it up, dont quit!
So that's how they're handling it? Well to be fair, it wasn't a 100% plagiarized set, they were just a bit too close to their original inspiration. I never would've noticed it was a copy if they hadn't used the exact same line patterns on the armor, so I guess I'm ok with this, kinda.
Awesome creature model! I also like that the specifications are pretty reasonable. I think the dark areas on the armor are a little too dark, but that could just be my monitor. It would be cool if there was more body hair/fur too. I'm really looking forward to your Comicon entry!
thanks for the comments. I tried what woogity said and sculpted the muscles, then smoothed out for skin. He's still falling over, tho. :) only things that still bother me are the glutes and calves, but every time i stare at them, they look correct. need to work on that armor now.
Loving the armor and the peculiarity on her! Looking forward to see the environment finished, I think it needs an area to focus the eyes on, as you mentioned before it's a little fuzzy tho, Ryan Yee's work has that feel too without getting the aye lost in the piece. Hype for more work!
The pose seems overly dramatic and artificial. Her hair and those front straps are flapping around yet her skirt is perfectly still? Maybe if she was wearing armor instead of a two-peice and a garter belt she would have been more protected against incoming arrows? ;)
Splash Damage released this .pdf that details how the many different types of armor were made: http://www.splashdamage.com/downloads/pubs/Punching_Above_Your_Weight.ppsx A small look here at how this was accomplished in The Witcher 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNsxwX_sva8&feature=player_embedded#at=332 -skip to around…
Thanks for the comment Savannakhet! Still working on the 3rd pass adding in grass and ferns. Also added in a fill light and softened up the shadows. Modified my Wakfu character with a new "Do" and a medium armor set to be the adventurer! Continuing the 3rd pass and coming up with new animations for the adventurer.
@Steven_3D Looks rad my man, really love FMA, fav anime btw, anyways I think it looks a bit squared even tho he's a giant armor, I'll keep my eye on some of the 3/4 to check that out, nevertheless great work, cheers!
So i decided to use the bone kind of a sword. I'm still need to create some armor for Tryndamere. The idea is he travel through Void to kill some monsters and get a new sword. But after slaying the monster and contacting with its blood Trynda gets corrupted by the Void.
