Oh yeah, as far as I know, you can't bake 16 bit maps in Maya...even though you choose 16 bit tga or tiff or whatever, there's no solution for this, you can bake in xNormal and to convert simply open the 16 bit image in photoshop, and choose Image - Mode - 8Bits/Channel.

Choosing the following settings will export any animations related to your model: If you have complex animations with controllers, special inputs etc. you can choose to Bake Animation From here you can load the FBX file into your Unity Project then set up the animations from within the engine.
Sorry if it came out the wrong way, but my post was also meant to be pointing out that this is an issue built of grey areas including what is a 'positive example.' It just seems like a lot of the proponents are interested in boiling it down to such, where instead of artists simply choosing what is best, they are choosing…
Go in the uv editor and choose face select mode and then go to Select and choose select inverted face and you will see if any uv island is inverted. But like millenia said I think it is a problem with the mesh. So do as he said and rebake and see if things look the same.
See if this works. Go to Window > Settings/Preferences > Preferences > When the preferences window opens then on the left scroll down to Files/Projects Scroll down to File Dialog Choose dialog style as "OS native" Save Next time choosing the options from the File menu it should work smoothly
You have to choose between two abstract paintings: one made of lines, and another made of circles. Some of the paintings you picked following your own taste in the past ended in an outcry and swarm of complaints. Which one would you choose? The painting with one bad and 3 good replies, or the other with 4 good replies?
I to have problems with getting replies but now that I think about it after reading the posts in this thread it is probably down to the projects I choose more than anything else. I guess I should choose less "realistic (war thing)" and maybe tackle some concepts or even something of my own design.
I choose a 4 light presets from 14 variations. It was so hard, but I did it. Thank you for your advices! Do you have any thoughts about this stuff? PS: Now I'm choosing between 9 and 10. 7 is good on barrel, but it has so bright highlight. Oh... I stuck again.
Haha I guess so! =P In Sweden you go 9 years elementary school, then you can go 3 years of "gymnasie" (= highschool), just that you can choose what you want to focus on in the gymnasie. And I choose game development. :thumbup: But well, any crits? :poly122:
