interesting take, out of curiosity, why did you bake down the color gradation on the sword itself? im referring to how the sword goes from blue to silver? thats the only thing that seems odd to me at the moment -

Stirls - I was thinking the same. The final helmet will be green and the badge will be silver, the poly-painting is fairly experimental at this stage. I have a lot more to do with the outer layer, mostly scratches and cavity detail like you suggest :) -

Yeah. I was only able to justify getting the Silver edition. I don't care if I don't get a real cd. Just one more thing for me to lose. But DoD:Source is definitly worth the extra $10. :P -

The design looks like a combination of Venom Snake's sneaking suit with the color scheme of the 90s costume, which is famous for its appearance in multiple media. but can you replace the gold visor with silver one -

Looks really awesome. I work also with SP and always have problems with the edge wear generator. Either it didn't show anything or the "edge wear" is more like redrawing the edges with a "silver-liner". :( -

that's alot better- maybe some LED lights on the panels, shadows on the metal panels, silver wheels on the chair instead of 1 black soup on the total chair. but all in all its already pretty nice -

This whole ordeal had at least some silver lining. Now I know that not all Tangent Space normal maps are equal or the same. Until a few days I just assumed all normal maps adhered to a standardized convention. -

I played so many games.... I could be The Witcher, a pirate (loved playing Pirates! as a kid) or a leader from Civilization. In any case, I get cool loot: a silver sword, a pirate ship and Nukes!!! hell yeah! -

Somehow the events thing glitched for me and it gave me 6 or 7 events completed on the day the game came out. I'm up to 9 now but I don't think there's a reward other than a silver medal for getting to 10.
