That looks so much better, the rock texture kicks ass. My only gripe with the scene currently is the excessive amounts of "supports" under the wall trims, they look very repetitive. I'd cut their count by 75% or so personally. Other than that, I can't wait to see more progress!
[ QUOTE ] oozes quality from every holy orifice. [/ QUOTE ] Is it wrong to be turned on by that image? I think I stand a surprisingly good chance of getting this game for christmas - from my bible-thumping, 75%-insane stepmother who undoubtedly thinks it would be a Good Influence on me! whee!
I used :: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/ ::to find some of the best prices for the parts & http://www.logicalincrements.com/ :: to find what price range I can get what in & http://pc.ncix.com/ncixpc_new/ ::for some general ideas of what I could build + $50-75 towards the cost of having them build it for me.
Agreed, headus is great and getting better. I think he could lower the price significantly though and ditch the dongle thing entirely. I'd rather pay £50 - £75 for a node-locked license than £220 for a dongle based one. The multi-seat licensing is a bit convoluted and manual as well.
When you import your normal try to import it with the compression setting to TC_Normal map and also LOD set to World_Normal. I think it would be a good idea if you multiplied your spec power value to something like 35 - 75 It might help bring the spec out more in unreal.
Chimay Blue A little expensive but at 9% alc and 75 cl its worth it, especially for how great of a beer it is. But mostly I just go brew my own at a little place in Edmonds, after a few times you start to get creative and brew almost exactly what you want.
I think that the huge margins and font sizes all over the place made my reading experience much worse, I need to scroll twice as much to see the same amount of information. Reading it at 75% zoom makes it slightly better overall but then some of the text becomes too small to read.
During summer break from school (three weeks off), I decided to model a samurai helmet. Here is my progress so far after a couple of days of working on it. Probably 75 percent done with the high poly at this point. Should be able to finish it up tomorrow, and start the low poly.
jeffro: I had a hard time doing something dynamic with that expression on his face, I might give it another go and see what I can come up with. crazyfool: The ambience is at about 75% If that makes any sence :) so he's still using the normal map to some degree.
