for me Qremesher is more intuitive, the settings are easier to understand. and setting hard edges is much easier to do in maya. just my 2 cents -

The feet feel almost twice as large as they should be and you could stand to give the knee guards a bit more volume. Just my two cents. :) -

The rain, smoke, and flares are a bit much and are distracting in update (2). I liked how you had it originally in the OP. Just my 2 cents. -

Looking good ! But even if she's stylised, her legs are rrrrrreeeeaaaally long... 2 to 5% shorter might be nice... just my 2 cents though.
