Finally got to dirt and dust in MudBox. I think I'm getting the hang of it but I'm kinda bummed I can't edit alphas (stencils and stamps) from existing photos as easily as I can in ZBrush. Sorry for the multiple views ..just wondering how it looks in different packages.
Awesome work everyone! It's been a while since the last time I checked the forum. I've been drawing a lot, studying more anatomy and stuff. I did this drawing And the last 5 days I've been back at sculpting. Ladies and gentlemen: The Batpod (almost 100% in zbrush)
This is my third head sculpt in Zbrush, It has a likeness to Walt but i think next time i can go even further. I'm just trying to refine my skills yo' I've been watching a loooooot of Breaking Bad lately. Anyway ended up turning it into this.
The pouch looks amazing man. I guess you used an alpha in Zbrush for the pattern, what did your alpha look like for that? Did you make a base mesh before hand and how did that look? I'm sculpting something similar myself soon so just wondering.
Foldy wings because... why not? Added the sprite from Ultrablast for fun and giggles Jonas, that's really nice. Got a movie of it in motion? So much awesome in this thread, makes me want to pick up Zbrush in addition to all them other things I should be picking up :s
And the quality bar gets higher and higher, some exceptional work here!! I sketched out the base suit shape in zbrush, need to work some of the forms and panels a bit more though but I have gone for a simplified design here to give the design some simplified areas.
thank you for your critique guys! i will try to fix all that i can =) creepy eyes - its my default zbrush eyes matcap (that i use for monsters too %) ), so don't look at it. fix toes and fingers not a problem, but what to do with the face... hmm jmiles wow!
Hi ! We've decided to do a live stream of this helmet concept . we will start it in 30 min , so be ready . https://new.livestream.com/accounts/1204672/events/1729490 we plan to block out the base on Zbrush and then take it to 3ds max for further details . stay tuned, Cheers CGPT Team
wanted to try something that was outside my comfort zone, something organic :P Been following the Hellchick concepts by Paul Richards, taking some different parts and mixed with a little bit of my own ideas. Super WIP still alot to do in subD before I go into zBrush ^^
thanks everyone! daphz, its rendered in zbrush. i turned on shadows and AO and added a bluish spotlight behind him. i used skinshade4 for his skin, toy plastic for his eyes and teeth, and used the basicmaterial for his shirt and messed around a lot with the hair material for his hair.
