Old Hammerite: Now (partially) in 3D! So yeah. This is still very heavily WIP. I'm going to completely replace the poofy sleeves and trousery bits with stuff that's a lot more complex. I obviously still have a lot of work to do, but whatevs, mang. It's coming together.
Another tugboat inspired by Ian Mcque paintings. Been watching BelgianBoolean's thread for a while and got curious about how I would approach something like this. Not trying to recreate any of Ian designs in particular, just using similar general shapes and forms. wip. obviously.
Extreme WIP for my Skyrim fan art scene. Spent all weekend trying to get trees looking right in UDK without resorting to Speedtree. I'm fairly happy with my first tree modeling attempt. Still need to tweak the textures and make some variations.
Actually, I think you should make the corridor taller. Look at how the most frontal arches extend beyond the screen in the concept, but they're clearly visible in your WIP. That ought to tell you that they're too low. Brian Sum's work is pure sex btw!

THIS PAGE IS DIAMONDS! Here's my Snusmumrik/Snufkin WIP. Getting colored. I am a big fan of painting the diffuse map directly in mudbox. It takes some getting used to, but I very much like painting the diffuse on top of a visible normalmap, onto a model that will be wearing it.
Haven't posted in awhile but I have been titillating my eyes with all the greatness on this thread. Here is a WIP of an industrial boiler I'm working on. It's modeled pretty closely after a prop in a existing game. It's pretty generic I know but I liked it. Can anyone recognize the prop?
