This is looking great! Loved it! I'm not the best with hair experience but, I'd suggest you to create a base shape on zbrush for the hair, and then do a retopo of it following the surface. Create some layers of hair, like..long and short strips and then rotate it on it's base a bit to look like a messy hair. I hope it…

Minion of Set, bad dudes from the cartoon Samurai Jack ( Body ) 15, 424 polygones 30,624 triangles ( Scythe's ) 674 polygones 1,338 triangles Tools: Mostly done in Zbrush. Some Maya useage and some Photoshop work. Then put into Unity for lighting. Thank you all for taking the time to look.

Here's my redesign of this side generator pump piece I showed awhile back. It's part of a larger piece, so most of the lower left section will not be visible. This is mostly from Modo with some boolean and welding scuzz in Zbrush. I've just noticed there are a few thing missing. I'll fix that later and re-post.
