Thanks Brian! I'll try giving it a play around. Originally I had it bigger but the official figurine and Overwatch screenshots made me think it should be smaller. Though for Heroes of the Storm, I agree bigger is definitely better! Easy tweak.
Hi all! I recently started to take an interest in texture/material creation for stylized environments. I made this piece to try and learn an interesting workflow from Zbrush > substance designer > photoshop. A lot of inspiration was taking from Overwatch with the shapes, colors, and hand painted details.
More progress with blocking out some clothing and folds. Still looking a bit off to me but im not sure if it's the pose or the proportions. Or both. Was referencing some overwatch sculpts for the folds but I think I can go a bit more exaggerated on this character.
