Hey Ace-Angel I got it fixed - it had something to do with the disk/install (ejecting the cd during installation - and getting it to ask me to re-insert the cd seemed to get it to pull it's finger out an continue installing - we'll see!)
Really awesome progress so far Damian, you are quickly becoming one of my favourite artists on polycount. I'm looking forward to digging deep into this thread as your progression continues, should be a lot of nice tips and tricks to come from this :)
Well, talk about information overload. Thanks for the very thorough answer. I will definitely look through the links. Meanwhile, I believe my initial assumption to be somewhat true after reading your answer and will continue to model based on that. Thanks!
It's been a while but I finally found some time to start fleshing some of it out. I started with the trunks. Since it's my first time doing anything like this, I thought I'd stop and ask for feedback before continuing to poke at it.
The wall is granite or so, nearly impossible to get a hole in even with a hammering drill , tried getting one hole and took 30 minutes of continuous insane loud drilling then i left it, and didnt care enough to get another type of curtains
I apologize for (relative) necro. Random and awesome.:poly121: Started late and (for some stupid reason) I decided to port it all to unity and continue working on it, just so I can port it back into UDK and finish it (still not near completition).
I have almost 2 months of free time for it and I intend to make it really simple. To be honest I've never done anything like this - I will finish the concept first and then decided how it should continue. And thank you for your feedback :)
That makes a lot of sense, thanks Hito. I think due to how it would travel with the fix, I would fall short of my frame target so I'll wait to see what my grade is and then decide to remake it or continue forward.
