For Turtle: Check all your distances - they could be causing errors based on the relatively small size of the lighthouse (modelled to scale?). Also check your projection, what have you got it set to now; inward, outward or closest? If it's outward and the start of the projection is too far in the negative then it'll pick… -

So much of this hinges on whether we’re talking about texturing for a diffuse-only engine, or for PBR. For PBR all that evidence suggests that you paint in any highlights or form shading very weakly (if at all) and let the engine do its thing to generate reflections. All the cool extra detailing comes from the normal map… -

You will likely run into trouble because cloth breaks the assumptions of the shading model. Clothing has a very different distribution to its specular reflection than most materials due to being composed of tiny translucent fibers. Ideally you'd want to use a custom cloth shader that fully models these, but aside from that… -

i agree with everyone else, except for one small thing, and its hard to see from the perspective you have with it Your forearm is clearly not long enough, look at your own arm...your bicept (or at least mine seems to be) should be about 3/4s length of your forearm. Your only talking about two series of games, doom/quake, doom is entirely demons, quake is somewhat demons (moreso just described as monsters) quake2 was aliens…
