Yeah, i got the comment on that too from other forums, a lot of em says my sidewalk scale is a bit too big. About the lighting.. i'll try to be more creative in using it, Thx man! :smiley:
The idea that you think that working in a cartoony look is the lazy/easy option is kinda insulting don't you think? While different from creating photo realistic work it still requires alot of creativity, skill and patience.
Thanks Vic. I'm doing better with these walls now, nothing concrete but I at least feel like I'm making progress which is a plus. Def. over that creative block or whatever. Hope to have something tomorrow.
Just went though this whole thread; you've go some awesome stuff in here, very creative and well done! You've really improved a lot since the first post. Keep up those studies man!
And the chances of us getting on kotaku or something like that would be a million times higher if it was a pack of pop culture rather than everyone just being creative :P I'm sort of getting into the famous character idea now ;)

i just recently had a phone conversation with a creative dir at a studio i wanna work at and i started the conversation off swearing and screaming at him, and calling him an asshole, p.s. this tactic is probably the exception, not the rule
I modelled this 1980s Apple Macintosh. Made in blender and originally rendered with EEVEE using a custom stepped lighting setup in the shaders. EEVEE doesn’t support texture baking, so I had to be creative in order to capture the textures for upload to sketchfab.…
