I'd say put another edge loop between the giant gap on his torso so the topology is even. But I'm not an expert on stylized models though, a lot of things can be interpreted differently.
zbrush kicks some major ass out of 3d coat when it comes to stylized diffuse painting. i only use 3dcoat for details these days. zbrush is just soooo much faster.
Very nice to see some less stylized stuff from you Swizz, looks like your taking this in the right direction. I am excited to see how you tackle this one :)
A sculpt I did in my personal time based on John Polidora's artwork https://www.artstation.com/artwork/4b4xL Yep, another darkstalkers character :P trying to step-up the stylization game
YUSS, A.T. is very stylized. I'd recommend setting up a camera and overlaying a screenshot from the show of treehouse. I think things are abit more exaggerated than you have atm.
Looking to do something a bit less stylized character for a 3D project at some point soon. Just kind of doodling it out, wouldn't mind doing a late teens/early 20s girl...
Maybe depends on the art style... If you're aiming for realistic, then PBR all the way. If it's a stylized asset, or super lowpoly, then you can texture it differently. (handpainted, flat color + highlight, etc etc)
There's something off putting about her forearms look slightly larger compare to her upper arm. Though considering how the character is stylized I think it's acceptable. Looks good though.
It looks like you're using bodybuilder anatomy rather than animal anatomy, I think. For the teeth I'm guesing they're stylized to be similar to a sabertooth, but the tigers teeth work with the rest of the jaw.
Excellent exaggeration, great expression, and a nice stylization. Like you said, the cap is untouched - throwing in the stitching and construction detail will really make this awesome. I love the material, too. Which one is it?
