Looking good! are you using a mask/colored spec for the Iris? If not, it can helps the eyes shine a bit, works great for stylized stuff. also do you have a normal map for the eye?
In terms of stylization, a less defined chin and a tiny bit of vertical squash on her face porportions would work. The face itself doesn't have much definition besides the overall shape, and that's by design.
I like where this is going, I would play with the arm silhouette a bit more, its really close to normal anatomy right now. Love the stylized look man! Keep it up!
I am really liking the stylization of everything. I would push the normals a little bit more as you mentioned, maybe with a Bump offset? Any way keep up the good work!
I am liking this a lot. It goes away from your standard World of Warcraft "stylized/painted textures" yet is still obviously painterly. Excited to see what the leaves look like.
I know this isn't the texture, but I think you should go a lot heavier on the translucency of the skin. Get some serious red in their. You can stylize the shading at the same time as the proportions.
finally got a new tablet pen after my last one got stolen. Bit rusty but I'm getting back into speed sculpting. Went with a more stylized female head for this one :)
Alright.. Played around a bit with the hands. I made them larger and more defined. I decided to go for a more stylized look. Please let me know what you think!
PBR assets ("realistic" or "stylized") can very well be textured completely in Photoshop, without touching a single bit of Substance or Quixel. They don't have to be. But they can be. And in some cases it's faster, in others it's slower.
Still waiting on my buddy for the rig and skin... I posted up the current marmoset file on an artstation page if anyone is interested in seeing it... https://bradmyers82.artstation.com/pages/stylized-lizard-creature
