Burnie Burns again. This one's from 2013. I was doing some sketching and trying to do some stylized cartoony style. It becomes more often in my later stuff n
This is kool! Love color scheme and atmosphere. Textures look a bit too harsh to me. As whole lighting/shapes look pretty stylized I'd make textures more painterly and not as intense.
The legs don't really add to a cartoony look, they just look wrong. If the rest was more stylized then you might get away with it but at them moment they are letting a well executed model down.
Hey Everyone, Thanks for sharing your time with me, i'm trying to achieve stylized texture (wow, paladins, etc.) and i am kinda new to this. Really really want to achieve something good. Have a good day.
I´ve decided to take part in this one too. Liked the viking concept, great opportunity to try a little bit of a stylized torso anatomy. Started blocking some rough shapes in Zbrush:
Great job! I dig the whole stylization. It has this cartoonish feel but as I see your paintovers you are aiming for more realistic textures. I like this especially head has it's style.
Done most of the texture. Kinda veered towards a more stylized look. I thought it suited the design more. Not sure if I'm finished with it yet or not. Any tips to take it further would be great.
This is really coming along nicely! I would love to see you push the stylization more though...larger hands, larger upper body, possibly smaller head, chunkier teeth, etc.
Been working on this for the last two weeks, got the face and the clothing pretty far along. 20 versions later and I'm still struggling with the stylized facial proportions. Eyebrows and lashes are just placeholder.
