Nothing wrong with the game so far for me. I like the art style, and it's fun to point and click. So i guess the money stuff is just like enhancers that give you boosts and stuff... at least from what i noticed. Things that i can live without honestly. Sure I've been through all that, the narration was indeed very nicely put together. Yet that does not make it a fun game - I don't need 10 minutes of nonexistent gameplay to get used to a control scheme!
