It's a security feature that had to be implemented in order for 2K games to agree to digital distribution. Basically you HAVE to uninstall the program before installing it again. This will stop people from installing multiple copies of their copy. So uninstall it when you're finished and you're fine. Nothing confusing or… -

Hey man, good stuff. I really like those scans. Don't be afraid to be harder, sharper with your digital. The softer brushes give off more of a feeling of insecurity. PRONOUNCE YOUR SCRIBBLING! Not to offend by calling it "scribbilng", but you know what I mean. It seemed to flow. Keep it up! -

here are a few taken from my new canon s3 (my first digital camera with an optical zoom!). these are just some pics i took giving it a quick test. they're not that great because i ran it on auto everything, tomorrow i'll get a chance to play around with it a bit more. -

He would be better of claiming this as a Matte painting . I was watching the behind the scenes for Episode 3 ,and one of the matte painters who was showing off a digital matte painting said it tooks 3-4 months to create the panoramic scene .It did not have anywhere near the detail that train station has . -

That's awesome, gotta do what you love! I work with an artist that's 60 years old who doesn't plan on retiring for another ten. He's a 2D artist but still doing his thing in the CG/digital world, never had the desire to be an art director/manager, just loves his craft. -

Any news when are coming the beginner tutorials, but any ideas if you´re going to partner with learning places as Pluralsight/Digital Tutors? One more question if I learn Quixel Suite 1 and then follow up the workflow primer I´ll basically know how to use Quixel Suite 2? -

My advice would be to get your hands on Digital Tutor's intro to Maya/Max. Do exactly what they do, click for click. It isn't the most fun way to learn, but it'll give you a grasp of the basics. I second what someone said earlier about studying low topology as well. -

We recently started doing themed speedpaints at work during lunch break. These are three of the first, starting from last Friday. Usually about 40 minutes each. "Girl vs. Giant Robot": "The Folly": "The Fifth Rider of the Apocalypse": Hope to keep these up nearly every day to improve digital painting. -
Re: Microsoft buying an Indie games developer "Mojang" for $2 Billion
They must plan on minecraft becoming the legos of the digital era. It is pretty amazing they dropped that much cash on an IP when they could have, oh I don't know, tried funding their own studios to make something innovative. I'm just glad they bought Mojang and not some other developer I care about.
