Thanks Peter! I'm starting to learn more and more from other posters and reading information. A lot of things you can't learn in school because of the amount of time. I'll keep experimenting on my own.
Personally I prefer a slower turn table, gives more time to check out the model. Right now it seems as if you're trying to fit all of your model turn tables in a certain amount of time.
awww man that sucks, this just happened to a workmate last week. I hope you're able to dig up a lot of your missing work and at least get some amount of compensation for your stolen stuff :(

It should appear in the selection tab in the graphite tools. Then you have select Non-quads in the first panel, or in the numeric panel at the end you can specify the exact amount of sides the face has then click the arrow.
I think it would be a pretty solid portfolio piece, the modeling seems very clean. Just remember to put at least an equal amount of time and effort into the materials since clean modeling is only half the battle!
just to give you a heads up, the c2 barrier was split down the middle, re-used the end pieces and so on - your map has an incredible amount of wasted space,you don't need a 1024
