Hey, looks great. I'm awful at stylized characters. Only thing I notice is I think maybe the top eyelids could pop more, they don't feel very noticeable.
Thank you for the reply, for this character i wanted to give it more of a stylized look. Would you recommend me on adding any thing else to the character or minor changes in some area
I think you should sculpt the hair. https://sammustudios.files.wordpress.com/2015/03/hairtutorial.jpg Great tutorial on stylized hair. It's a cute sculpt and I would like to see if properly finished.
I have nothing really add since I'm not qualified to, but good on ya for getting a portfolio up! Although some non-stylized finished characters would be a safe bet for sure.
ouch that might be true. when I started it I wanted to go with some sort of stylization, but at some moment f##ked it up badly.. ( also revisiting head was in my list.
I'm loving these "making of" videos. Also, anyone really digging the environments? They're looking super clean and crisp, almost stylized. Nice break from broken concrete and rusty metal.
Thanks guys! I hadn't even heard of FACS until yesterday but it is very interesting stuff. Do people re-create these shapes using blendshapes on stylized / non-scanned characters?
I wonder if it's heading in the right direction? still can't decide if the eyes are too big. Even though i am going for slightly stylized look, it's tough to get it just right...
New lighting and shaders! Maybe some fluid effects for particles. More indie games and stylized games. More memory = longer view distance, more assets on screen, less tiling.
