@Arturow - Cheers mate :) Spent some time today thinking up a new idea and came up with a peg leg cycle. After looking at a few rigs I felt the Croc would work best. I might give him an eye patch and some tattoos but first I need to hunt down some good peg leg reference!
Minor tweaks to the mags: In Arma 3 the spec/gloss are shared to keep vram useage down. Normals have to be unique for the ribbing on the later era mags. So 2x materials, 3x unique diffuse textures. Also figured I'd throw up a bunch of ref I've been using, with thanks to the various people who've sent me various sources:
The fox's arms, and to a lesser extent his legs, are painfully thin. Proportions on anthropomorphic animals can be tricky, especially since the fur tends to add bulk. The cloth on his left leg has an odd shape from the thigh to the knee. The feet are also very small; I suppose you were basing the size on an actual fox paw,…
@TeriyakiStyle thank. You are absolutely right @CocoaCup thank you  @Shanteez thank you. I thought he is athletic enough, but now I may be given him more cardio training @Waterbear thank you. I wanted his leg a tiny bit short. I thought shorter legs is better for top down view games.
Nice start! The face is indeed looking pretty good :) I see you are gonna make her long-legged. It isn't clear to me yet, but in this case I would just make sure to keep the lower legs + feet longer than the thighs + knees. As you can see on Tracer for example https://i.imgur.com/HoWeW42.jpg Keep it up!
This is one of the coolest character concepts I have seen in a long time, and you're model does it great justice. You definitely nailed the smooth silhouette too. The only things that seem off are the legs. The legs seem unnaturally vertical, instead of sloping towards the crotch, but that's probably just your pose.…
she looks very very tall. its because of the too long legs, but also the head is to small. The lower legs especially are way to long. the knees should also be less wide. I think you should make a very simple basemesh first, with correct proportions, then you can start sculpting. IMO that would be easier then trying to fix the…
I think the back pistons need a bit more width to help support the legs. The main legs look a bit too thin as well. Another thing is the thigh's shape looks a bit off, but that could just be the angle. Here's a decent image I found from a quick google search.…
Cool walk. Main issue I see with is with the legs. They are a bit poppy, the lower leg swings forward too quickly and its giving it a weird look. Also, I would reduce the tilt on the chest/shoulder when the foot plants and the chest compresses. You can see it roughly f5 with the screen left shoulder, it just draws…
polygonfreak had a point i should have posted up a reference image for those who dont know how the gun looks. Also the gun was modeled in parts the mag, safety, hammer, mag release, barrel and barrel release are all separate parts. Next render ill set different material colours to each so it can be easier distinguished
